Locally Owned And Operated For Over 20 Years

Over twenty years ago I packed up all my worldly possessions, took two out of my three Boston Terriers and left Chicago to move to Bellevue, Iowa. I was 40 years old, very recently divorced and wasn't sure which was scariermoving away from my family and friends or opening a book store with no retail experience. But here we are over 20 years later, definitely older, hopefully wiser and so very thankful and grateful! Many customers have walked through our doors as strangers and have left as our friends.
