About Us
Just over two decades ago, at 40 and freshly divorced, I left the bustling streets of Chicago with my Boston Terriers for the serene town of Bellevue, Iowa. The journey was daunting—moving away from loved ones and embarking on opening a bookstore with zero retail background. Yet here we stand, nearly 25 years later, richer in wisdom and gratitude. Countless customers have walked through our doors as strangers, leaving as friends. Open 361 days a year, we invite you to visit us and, of course, meet The BookWorm Boston Terrier, the heart of our store!
